Certificates & Cancellation

Last updated October 4, 2026

Earning a certificate. Each level has published requirements: finished tracks, a timed exam passed at 80%, simulator tickets passed, and for Levels 2 and 3, role-plays approved by a human reviewer. Certificates are issued automatically when every requirement is met.

What it says. Your name, the level, the date issued, the expiry date and a verification code with a QR code. Service Advisor Academy certificates show training completed with this program. They prepare you for the ASE C1 Service Consultant test but are not ASE certification.

They belong to you. Certificates follow the advisor, not the shop. If you change jobs, they come with you.

Expiry and renewal. Certificates are valid for 12 months. Renewing requires an active seat and passing the recertification requirements in effect at the time.

If a seat is cancelled. Access to lessons and practice ends at the end of the paid period. Your history is never deleted, and existing certificates stay valid until their expiry date.

Retakes. If you don't pass an exam, you can retake it after 48 hours.

Exam integrity. Exams are timed and drawn at random. Leaving the exam tab is logged. Sharing questions or having someone else take an exam breaks our terms.

Revocation. We may revoke a certificate that was earned through cheating, identity fraud or a billing chargeback for the seat used to earn it. A revoked certificate shows as "Revoked" on its verification page. You can ask us to review a revocation by contacting support.
